Our vets are happy to check and rasp your horse’s teeth. It can be particularly important
in older horses. Wolf teeth can be an issue for some horses, interfering with the
action of the bit. These teeth can usually be removed relatively easily under sedation.
For more complicated problems we work in conjunction with local equine dental technicians
and if you can travel your horse here to the clinic you save the cost of call out.
Remember that although many dental technicians do a very good job they cannot sedate
a fractious horse or prescribe antibiotics when needed. It is often more economic
to have routine dentals carried out by the vet.
