Did you know that Anvil Equine Veterinary Clinic has three fantastic health clinics available for all clients to attend? These consist of physiotherapy with Jenny Stephenson, equine dentistry with Simon Viewig, and a remedial farriery clinic with our two hospital farriers.

All our clinics are run at various times throughout each month. For more information, just speak to a member of staff who will be more than happy to answer any questions or make an appointment for you and your horse or pony.

We've produced a series of leaflets on Mud Fever, Grass Sickness, Strangles and EHV, which are all available from our office. Just call in and see us, or we can post copies to you if you'd like - just ask. We also have many more leaflets available on various equine health subjects, so if there's a particular subject you'd like more information on, a member of our staff will be happy to help.

We offer an Equine Health Check for all equines around the time of their annual booster. This health check consists of a vaccination, dental check-up, worm egg count, examination of eyes, heart and lungs, a visual and manual appraisal of any problems raised by the owner or vet, and a lameless trot-up which does not include flexion tests. The cost of this service is £85.90 or £80.60 if there's more than one horse. And this cost also includes a visit fee for any visit band. So don't forget this cost effective and worthwhile service when booking your horse's annual flu and tetanus.
